How Much Does Snow Removal Cost in Connecticut?
By ResiSnow · Updated October 2026 · Windsor, CT
Every winter, the question comes up sooner or later: what does snow removal actually cost around here? We hear it every season in Windsor and East Windsor, so instead of making you call around, here is our full price list for 2026–27 — the same numbers we charge, published right here. No "starting at" games, no fine print.
ResiSnow is a residential snow removal company serving Windsor and East Windsor, CT only, from November through March. Below is everything we offer, what each visit includes, and what moves the price up or down.
Per-visit pricing (no contract needed)
If you don't want a seasonal contract, you can call us for one-time clearing whenever snow hits. Here is what a single visit costs:
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Driveway — standard (up to 4 cars deep × 2 wide) | $115 |
| Driveway — large (up to 8 cars deep × 2 wide) | $140 |
| Driveway — long or hill | $220 |
| Emergency clearing (immediate deployment) | $300 |
Here is how a per-visit service works. We roll out when snowfall reaches 1.5 inches — that is our service trigger. Each visit covers up to 6 inches of accumulation. If a storm drops more than 6 inches, it is billed as two visits, because we are effectively clearing twice. Heavy, wet snow costs 25% more than the listed rate, since it takes longer and is harder on the equipment. Emergency clearing is $300 because we deploy immediately — it is for when you need out now, not on the regular route schedule.
Salting prices
Clearing gets the snow off; salting keeps it from turning into ice overnight. We salt by the application:
| Area | Price per application |
|---|---|
| Driveway (salt) | $55 |
| Walkway, up to 20 ft (calcium chloride) | $55 |
| Sidewalk (calcium chloride) | $105 |
| Long driveway (salt) | $125 |
Walkways and sidewalks get calcium chloride rather than plain salt because it keeps working at lower temperatures — that matters on the nights when the thermometer keeps dropping after the storm. For the full rundown on what we use and when, see our driveway salting guide. Note that salting is included with the Premium seasonal package, so Premium customers never pay these per-application rates.
One honest note: even with our clearing and salting, you as the property owner remain responsible for the safety of your premises — ResiSnow is not responsible for slip-and-fall incidents during or after a snowstorm.
Seasonal packages (November–March)
A seasonal contract means one price covers you all winter — no per-storm decisions, no calling around in the middle of a blizzard. You are on the route. Seasonal contracts are paid by check; one-time services are paid via Venmo, Zelle, or check (no credit cards).

- Premium + walkway — $2,120/season
- Premium + walkway + sidewalk — $2,495/season

What makes the price go up
- Driveway size. Standard tops out at 4 cars deep by 2 wide ($115/visit); a large driveway runs $140, and a long or hill driveway $220.
- Add-ons. Walkways and sidewalks are priced separately, per-visit or per season.
- Big storms. Each visit covers up to 6 inches; anything over that bills as a second visit.
- Heavy, wet snow. That concrete-like spring slush adds 25% to the per-visit rate.
- Emergency calls. Immediate deployment is $300 — priced for priority, not for routine storms.
Which option fits you?
If you only see a few manageable storms a winter and you are usually home to call it in, per-visit is the honest, economical choice — you pay only when you need us. If you would rather never think about it — you leave early for work, you commute, or you simply want to wake up clear every storm day — a seasonal package is the worry-free move.
